Description
Printed between 1667 and 1673.
The book was acquired by the museum from Anatolii Oleksiiovych Stepanov, a resident of the village of Vvedenka, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region, in 1978.
Note: the "Chasovnyk" (from the ancient Greek Hōrológion) is a liturgical book containing Orthodox prayers and church chants for the daily church services, including the services known as the "canonical hours" — prayers read in church at set times (hence the book's name, "Chasovnyk," from "chas," meaning "hour").
