Virtual Exhibition
Explore a collection of real church artifacts and antiquities in an interactive 3D exhibition hall, right from your browser — no installation needed.
What it is
This virtual exhibition lets you walk through a museum-style room and see icons, crosses, liturgical vessels, vestments, and other sacred objects recreated as detailed 3D models. You can walk right up to any piece, look at it from any angle, and read more about its history and origin.
How to use it
- Click "Click anywhere to enter" to start.
- On a computer: use the W/A/S/D keys or arrow keys to walk, and move your mouse to look around.
- On a phone or tablet: drag your finger on the screen to look around, and use the on-screen joystick to walk.
- When you're standing close to an exhibit, press E (or tap the "Inspect" button on mobile) to examine it up close and read its description.
- Press TAB (or tap the settings icon) to open the settings menu — change the language, adjust graphics quality, switch between day and night lighting, or turn sound on or off.
- Press Esc (or use the on-screen button) to leave the exhibition and return to the entrance.
Tips
- 3D models load gradually as you approach them — give it a moment when you first walk into a new part of the room.
- If it feels slow, open the settings menu and lower the graphics quality — a "Low" setting is available for older devices.
- A stable internet connection is recommended, ideally Wi-Fi, since the exhibition downloads 3D models and images as you explore.
System requirements
Desktop / laptop:
- Minimum: a computer from the last 7–8 years with an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari). Built-in graphics are enough.
- Recommended: a computer from the last 4–5 years, or one with a dedicated graphics card, for the smoothest experience.
Smartphone / tablet:
- Minimum: a device from the last 4 years running a recent Safari (iPhone/iPad) or Chrome (Android).
- Recommended: a mid-range or newer device on Wi-Fi for faster loading.
Note: everything runs in your browser — nothing needs to be installed.
