Star-shaped Appliqué for Clergy Vestments

The object is a gold-toned, star-shaped appliqué, embroidered with metal thread. The composition is centrally symmetrical: at the center is a round medallion with a rosette in the form of a four-petaled flower, bordered by a relief ring; from the center, elongated petal-shaped rays radiate outward, alternating with smaller rings, forming an eight-pointed shape.

The object entered the museum's holdings in 1956.
