Star-shaped Appliqué for Clergy Vestments

The object is a separate, star-shaped appliqué, embroidered with gold and silver metal thread. The composition is arranged concentrically: at the center is a round openwork medallion with a cruciform, four-rayed motif. The medallion is bordered by a relief ring. Around the central ring is a many-rayed outer contour.

The object entered the museum's holdings in 1956.
