Description

Made of a wide, pale-gray satin ribbon, gathered at the top into a bow. On the "wings" of the ribbon are one-sided floral-geometric compositions of lilies and cross motifs, embroidered in silver- and gold-toned beadwork. Along the edges of the ribbon is a fringe trim of golden metal thread.

The ribbon entered the museum's holdings in 1955.

Note: the depiction of lilies and crosses in the embroidered composition is a symbol of spirituality and purity.
