Description

The belt is sewn from two pieces, light-brown and beige in color. The ornament is woven in the form of stylized crosses, crosses with the instruments of the Passion (a spear and a reed), and a geometric pattern. The edges of the belt are trimmed with brown piping. At one end is attached a tassel of silk and metal thread in beige and silver tones.

The object belonged to the collection of the Sloboda Ukraine Museum named after H. S. Skovoroda; it remained in the museum during the occupation of Kharkiv during the Second World War (1941–1943).
