Description
An eight-pointed pectoral cross with the Crucifixion applied to a metal plate that echoes the shape of the cross. The graphic form of the cross fully corresponds to the church canon of the "Golgotha" cross. The image of the Crucifixion is accompanied by a depiction of a cherub on the fixed finial; around the middle crossbar is the beginning of the text of the Troparion to the Cross, and on the reverse, at the top, a loop for hanging and the continuation of the Troparion text.
The cross belonged to the collection of the Sloboda Ukraine Museum named after H. S. Skovoroda.
