Description

A one-sided cross; the solar symbolism at the crossing takes the form of oval arcs with a ball, and the ends of the cross are widened in the form of rounded trefoils. On the front is a depiction of an eight-pointed Golgotha cross with a "tsata" (crescent pendant), accompanied by the abbreviated inscription "King of Glory, Jesus Christ the Victor," in square frames. The cross is decorated with light-blue and green enamel. The reverse of the cross is plain.

The cross dates from the second half of the 17th to the 18th century.

The cross entered the museum's holdings in 1960.
