Description
A man's cross, four-armed, with shaped edges. At the crossing is a relief depiction of the Crucifixion — Jesus Christ in a loincloth, his body hanging on the cross, his feet nailed separately, his palms open, his haloed head inclined toward his right shoulder. The cross's finial is a large loop.
The cross dates from the 18th–19th century.
The cross entered the museum's holdings in 1951.
