Description
A "boy's" cross for an infant. A one-sided cross with four equal arms, each ending in three relief balls; the crossing is diamond-shaped, decorated with an impressed diamond outline, and the finial is a loop, flattened on the front side.
The cross dates from the 12th–13th century.
The cross entered the museum's holdings as part of a collection of coins and awards, acquired from Ivanov of Kharkiv in 1949.
