Description
An edition in the form of a booklet, printed in the early 20th century.
Printed in a single color. The title page has a quadruple rectangular frame with toothed edges and double squares in the corners. Pagination is absent. Most of the pages contain dotted lines set within a linear rectangular frame decorated with scrollwork and palmettes. The lines are intended for writing in the names of people (relatives or acquaintances) to be commemorated in prayers for their health or for the repose and forgiveness of their sins. The edition is decorated with two full-page engravings, "The Holy Trinity" and "Guardian Angel." On the last four pages is the text "Commemoration of the Departed."
On the left flyleaf is a manuscript ownership inscription: "Elena Mikhailovna Pavlova." On the lines of individual pages are the names of men, women, boys, and infants, written in black and violet ink and in graphite pencil.
The cover is of stiff cardboard, covered in brown-lilac velvet.
The object was donated to the museum by O. H. Nykyforova, a resident of the settlement of Pisochyn, Kharkiv region.
