Frame of a small (portable) cross.

The frame is fragmentary. It takes the form of an outline frame for a carved cypress cross, with a handle. The frame is four-armed, worked along its contour with floral scrollwork. The handle has visible facets.

Note: the cross belonged to the pre-war (pre-1941) collection of the H. S. Skovoroda Historical Museum; it was evacuated in 1941, and the frame from the cross was returned to Kharkiv in November 1944.
