Cross base, with text.

The base is made of silver-toned metal, round in cross-section, with a relief rim, tapering toward the top. It is decorated with a floral ornament of flowers, leaves, and fruit. Around the contour of the base, on the front side, is a text (in Russian): "This cross was made at the expense of the Kamianyi Brid kurin, by Stepan Yedynyi. 1773."

Note: the cross belonged to the pre-war (pre-1941) part of the collection of the H. S. Skovoroda Historical Museum; it was evacuated in 1941, and the base of the cross, as a fragment of it, was returned to Kharkiv in 1944.
