Fragment of a candlestick leg

The fragment is of silver-toned metal, hollow, ornamented in its lower part with relief acanthus leaves, and decorated in its upper part with an image of two cherubim. The upper and lower edges are round in cross-section, with curved-out rims.

Note: the object belonged to the pre-war (pre-1941) part of the collection of the H. S. Skovoroda Historical Museum; it was evacuated in 1941 and returned to Kharkiv in November 1944.
