Description
A four-armed cross, with short side lobes, one-sided. On the front is a depiction of the "Crucifixion"; above, on the straight crossbar, is the inscription "IS KHЪ" ("Jesus Christ"). On either side of the cross are the Mother of God and John the Baptist. In the lower part of the cross is a depiction of the Head of Adam at Golgotha. In the upper part of the cross and at the bottom on the side arms are depictions of cherubim. At the top of the cross is a movable loop.
The cross entered the museum's holdings in 1951.
