Description
A pectoral cross, four-armed, with straight ends, two-sided. At the center of the front is an eight-pointed cross, flanked by the instruments of the Passion — a spear and a reed — beneath which is a depiction of the Head of Adam. On the upper arm are the letters "TSR" and "SLVY" ("King of Glory"). On the side arms are "IS," "KHS" and "SN," "BZHII" ("Jesus Christ" and "Son of God"). On the reverse is the text of the Troparion to the Cross. The loop is oval, with a shaped finial.
The cross entered the museum's holdings in 1977.
