Description
The lid from a cup is made of silver-toned metal, cylindrical in form, with a round base and a shaped finial. The rim of the lid is decorated around its perimeter with vertical notches. The surface of the lid is covered along its edge with a floral-geometric ornament, with the same ornament around the finial.
The lid from the cup belonged to the pre-war collection of the Sloboda Ukraine Museum named after H. S. Skovoroda. During the Second World War it was evacuated and returned to Kharkiv in November 1944.
