Icon "Christ Pantocrator"

The icon shows a three-quarter-length, frontal image of Jesus Christ with long hair and a small beard, a crown on his head; around his head is an oval halo with radiant rays. Christ wears a purple chiton with a gold border, with a dark-green himation draped over his left shoulder; his right hand is raised in blessing, his left holds an open Gospel. The background of the icon is brown, with a yellow frame around its perimeter bearing a floral pattern in the corners.

The icon was made between the mid-19th and early 20th century. It was donated to the museum by L. M. Zamoiska of Kharkiv in 2004.
