<lido:descriptiveNoteValue xml:lang="en">The book was printed in the early 19th century. Printed in black ink, the text in Church Slavonic, set within a double linear frame with a floral ornament. Catchwords appear at the foot of the pages, with letter foliation in the upper right corner of the frame, decorated with headpieces, initials, and tailpieces. Before the main text is an engraving, "The Council of the Holy Chief Apostles." The cover is of cardboard, bound in brown-toned leather, with a stamped floral and geometric ornament. According to a marginal note, the book was purchased in 1878.
The book was acquired by the museum from Valentyna Ivanivna Liubymova, a resident of the village of Kostieve, Valky district, Kharkiv region, in 1981.
Note: the Trebnik (Greek Euchologíon) is a liturgical book containing the texts of services and prayers performed by the Church at particular moments in a Christian's life. The Trebnik is used for the rites of baptism, chrismation, confession, marriage, ordinations, and various other needs (funerals, the blessing of a house, and so on).</lido:descriptiveNoteValue>
