Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum ТК-1551 A long, one-piece liturgical vestment of trapezoidal silhouette, with wide, shortened sleeves. Made of golden-yellow brocade. The neckline is round, with a small vertical slit at the front, decorated with a red velvet trim and fastened with a round button. The shoulder area, front and back, is decorated with decorative inset panels embroidered with a floral motif in the form of flower branches with scrollwork. On the back, set within the floral composition, is a four-pointed cross in radiance (embroidered in gold metal thread). Along the hem and sleeve edges, the sticharion is bordered with galloon in a grapevine ornament with bunches and leaves. In the lower part of the back is an applied openwork cross of gold metal thread. The object entered the museum's holdings in 1956. Note: the sticharion is a long liturgical vestment with wide sleeves, worn in the Orthodox tradition by deacons and lower clergy.
