Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum ТК-1501 A red stola in the form of a rectangular ribbon; at both ends are sewn trapezoid-shaped pieces, each bearing a four-armed cross at its center, trimmed with gold-toned galloon. The galloon bears a linear-geometric ornament. The reverse is of burgundy silk fabric. Between the two layers of fabric is a layer of purple velvet ribbon, with a four-armed cross of galloon sewn onto it. Note: the stola is a component of the liturgical vestments of Catholic (and Lutheran) clergy. It is a silk ribbon 5–10 cm wide and about 2 meters long, with crosses sewn at the ends and at the center. It is worn over the alb, under the dalmatic or chasuble.
