Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum ТК-1458 Made of trapezoid-shaped velvet. Decorated with a composition of floral branches and shoots, between which is a four-armed cross with lily-shaped ends and radiating rays (the embroidery worked in silver metal thread with the addition of metal sequins). The inner field of the cuff is outlined by a frame with a wavy edge; the edges are bound with silk fabric. The reverse of the cuff is lined with homespun printed fabric with a brown ground, patterned with small light-colored circles with a dash. The cuff entered the museum's holdings in 1955. Note: cuffs (epimanikia) are part of the liturgical vestments of clergy at all ranks (deacons, priests, and bishops). They are worn on the wrists of both hands, over the sticharion, and tied with cords.
