Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum Вст. 103122 М-4554 A pectoral cross, four-armed, made of brown-toned metal, with trilobed ends. On the front is an eight-pointed cross, upon which rests a crown of thorns. Above the cross, on an unfurled scroll, are the letters "INRI" ("Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews"); to the left and right of the side arms, the letters "IC XC" ("Jesus Christ"). Below the cross are a scroll and a sash. The ends of the cross are decorated with three dots set within a circle. On the reverse, at the top, two branches are crossed, beneath which is the Church Slavonic inscription: "We worship Thy Cross, O Master." The cross was made in the late 19th to early 20th century. The cross was found in the town of Krasnohrad, Kharkiv region.
