Ф. Сумцова M. F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum М-85 A metal fragment of a candelabrum, gold-toned, two-sided, made of two metal pieces depicting an angel holding candlesticks. The angel is shown full-length, frontally, with wings spread, standing barefoot on a cloud. The angel has long wavy hair below the shoulders, dressed in a chiton, chainmail, and an orarion with crosses tied around it; around the head is a round halo with a dotted ornament. On the other side is an identical depiction of the angel. The angel holds in one hand a cylindrical candlestick with a drip pan, ending in a ball, and in the other a metal rod (the candlestick is lost). At the top of the fragment, at the tips of the wings, are two through-holes for mounting. Along the lower edge of the two metal pieces, joined by rivets, is the inscription: "This angel was created by the servant of God, resident Pylyp Suriuk, for the Church of the Resurrection in Mohyliv, August 26, 1814." The object was made in 1814 and belonged to the pre-war (pre-1941) part of the collection of the H. S.
