Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum М-74 A metal fragment of a candelabrum, silver- and gold-toned; it takes the form of a two-sided shaped plate depicting archangels holding candlesticks. The archangel is shown full-length, frontally, with wings spread, standing barefoot on a cloud. He appears as a young man with long wavy hair below the shoulders; dressed in a chiton, girded with a belt and sash. The chiton bears long winding floral branches with leaves, bordered at the sleeves and hem. Around the archangel's head is a round golden halo. On the other side is a depiction of an archangel, full-length, frontally, with wings spread, standing barefoot on a cloud. He appears as a young man with long wavy hair below the shoulders, dressed in a chiton girded with a belt and sash. The chiton bears many-petaled flowers with winding branches and leaves, bordered at the sleeves and hem. The archangels hold two cylindrical candlesticks with drip pans. At the top of the fragment, at the tips of the wings, and at the bottom on the cloud, are three through-holes for mounting. The object belonged to the pre-war (pre-1941) part of the collection of the H. S.
